On live tv this morning, a representative of the Bowmanville Zoo called a Baboon a naughty name. He did not strike the baboon, nor even say the names in a mean voice, but the network has now stated they will no longer visit the zoo in question... because verbal abuse? I'm not entirely sure...

I've always said that breeders in need of help should just ask. That I would rather see a breeder get help rehoming their herd instead of dumping them at a shelter or rescue. Today, for the second time in almost 5 years of breeding, I was called on to help a breeder in need. And I put my money where my mouth is, and took in another herd.
Or how 4 cats were euthanized because of their owner's choice, but it was blamed on the shelter manager.
A herd of rabbits living in a colony setting in the midst of a busy city. RARA's kicking up a fuss over inadequate care, believing it is not a suitable environment and once again unleashing the fury of the internet with the intent to remove the animals from their home.
